Terms of Service
Last updated: September 22, 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, installing the Somewhere CLI or plugin, or using any part of somewhere.tech, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Who may use the service
You must be at least 13 years old. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the security of your credentials, API keys, and anything built or deployed from your account. Keep your developer key (starting with smt_) server-side. If you suspect a key is compromised, rotate it from the dashboard.
4. Acceptable use
You may not: (a) use the platform to send spam, malware, or phishing content; (b) probe or circumvent platform security outside the good-faith testing authorized by our security research policy; (c) resell raw platform access as a replacement product; (d) use the platform to build content that violates law.
5. Content and data
You retain ownership of the code, data, and content you upload. You grant us the rights needed to operate the service — storing, copying, routing, and displaying your content to end users of your apps.
We do not access, review, or inspect your code, data, or files except as required to operate the service (for example, serving your deployed files to your users) or when you explicitly request support. We will never use your code, data, or intellectual property to build competing products.
We do not use your code, data, or content to train AI models, and we do not share it with AI providers for training purposes.
6. Fees and billing
Free and Builder tiers are available. Usage beyond plan limits may result in overage charges or soft throttling, as described in the pricing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. After closure, we keep minimal records required by law and delete the rest.
We may pause or archive a free project after at least 180 days with no owner or authorized-agent activity and no meaningful use by the app's users. Genuine visitor traffic counts as use even when the owner has not signed in; automated probes, bots, and our own health checks do not. This inactivity policy does not apply to projects covered by an active paid subscription.
Before an inactivity pause or archive, we will email the account owner at least 30 days in advance with instructions to keep the project active or export its data. Pausing or archiving for inactivity does not itself delete your project's data. Contact support if you need help keeping a project active or restoring access.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
